Overview
Finder Integration is DiskCleanKit's most powerful workflow feature. Instead of opening an app and navigating to folders, simply right-click any folder in Finder and select "Analyze with DiskCleanKit" - a floating analysis panel appears instantly with a complete storage breakdown.
What makes this special: the analysis opens in a lightweight floating panel, not the full application. You stay focused on your work while getting immediate insights into what's consuming space. View large files, cleanable items, and storage breakdown by category - all from a two-click action.
Works everywhere: internal drives, external USB drives, network volumes, mounted disk images, and sidebar locations. The extension automatically detects when you connect or disconnect drives, so new volumes are immediately available for right-click analysis.

How It Works
Enable the Extension
Open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions → File Providers and enable DiskCleanKit. Restart Finder to apply changes.
Right-Click Any Folder
Select any folder, external drive, or sidebar volume in Finder and right-click. You can also right-click empty space inside a folder.
Select 'Analyze with DiskCleanKit'
Choose the DiskCleanKit option from the context menu. The app icon appears next to the menu item for easy recognition.
View Floating Analysis Panel
A focused floating panel appears with storage breakdown, large files, and cleanable items. No full app window, just the analysis you need.
Take Action
